Der Sommer hört ja nicht auf, weil der Kalender das so will. Er hört auf, wenn du das letzte Mal abends draußen sitzt, das Licht über der Bucht orange wird und unten am Hafen jemand die Stühle hochstellt. Diese halbe Stunde lässt sich schlecht einpacken und mitnehmen.

Der Book Nook Sunset Isle versucht es trotzdem. Der Bausatz von Rolife kommt als Buchstütze ins Regal und zeigt eine kleine Küstenstadt bei Sonnenuntergang: ein Haus mit rotem Ziegeldach und türkis gerahmten Bogenfenstern, auf dem Dach eine Katze, daneben eine Möwe im Flug. Dazu ein Balkon mit steinerner Balustrade, eine Terrasse mit Sonnensegel und Korbstuhl, Zitronenbäume voller Früchte, eine Treppe mit einem Schild mit der Aufschrift OPEN und im Hintergrund die Bucht mit Segelboot und Leuchtturm. Die Außenseite ist bedruckt wie ein alter Reiseprospekt. 284 Teile, gesteckt statt geklebt, und die Beleuchtung kennt zwei Lichtstimmungen.

Für alle, die im November gern kurz woanders hinschauen. Die Insel gibt es nicht, aber das Licht stimmt.
